Doris Ilene (Decator, Vallee) Mund, 78, of Okemos, MI. crossed over on February 25, 2013 in Okemos. She was born February 26, 1934 in Flint, MI. to Frank Edward and Minnie (Gibson) Decator. Doris was a homemaker, and enjoyed helping others. She was a long time member of the Eagles in Williamston. She is survived by 1 son, Hilaire T. (Wendy) Vallee; 2 daughters, Sheila Mund and Susan Mund; 1 brother, Michael (Karen) Decator; 4 sisters, Norma (Tom) Day, Mary Ann (Jeno') Kocsy, Violet (Dale) Lentz and Joan Curtice, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Minnie Decator; her husband, Warren J. Mund; 2 sisters, Donna Fulmerhouser and Rosalie May Brown Ernest; and 2 brothers, Charles Enos Decator and Frances (Tarze) Decator. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2 at McDowell Funeral Home with Rev. Dawn Pooley officiating. Visitation will be Friday, March 1 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
